Studio Leader

Ensures that we deliver a premium, high‑touch experience by overseeing operational efficiency, member satisfaction, and sales performance. Supports the Studio Manager and/or above studio leadership in leading the studio team, maintaining operational excellence, and cultivating a results‑driven, community‑oriented environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead membership and package sales, optimize the client onboarding experience, and ensure exceptional service is delivered at every stage of the member journey.
  • Ensure full compliance with studio procedures and safety protocols across all operational areas.
  • Collaborate with team members to maintain a spotless studio environment and keep equipment and facilities in peak condition.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to align studio performance with goals and service standards.
  • Demonstrate strong relationship‑building and leadership skills, inspiring and supporting team members at every level.
  • Maintain a highly organized, detail‑oriented approach to daily operations with a strategic, solutions‑driven mindset and effective time and priority management in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Recruit, train, and develop Front Desk and Studio Support staff to deliver a consistent, high‑quality experience.
  • Provide regular coaching, performance feedback, and growth opportunities to team members.
  • Lead onboarding and ongoing training to equip staff for both service and sales expectations.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and motivating team culture grounded in the brand and values.
  • Manage personnel issues professionally in accordance with company policies.
  • Drive studio revenue through sales of memberships, class packs, retail, and promotional offerings.
  • Collaborate with leadership to analyze sales trends and adjust strategy to exceed targets.
  • Set and monitor daily, weekly, and monthly sales goals for the team.
  • Implement grassroots marketing efforts and studio events to attract new clients and increase community engagement.
  • Actively manage leads through text, email, and phone outreach; ensure proper follow‑up and onboarding for new members.
  • Maintain a strong personal sales performance that leads by example.
  • Work closely with leadership to ensure a best‑in‑class, personalized member experience.
  • Handle member concerns and feedback with professionalism and care, ensuring quick and effective resolution.
  • Cultivate relationships with members to promote loyalty, satisfaction, and retention.
  • Serve as the champion of the experience in every interaction.
  • Report to the Studio Manager or above Studio Leadership and collaborate closely on sales, staffing, and operations.
  • Oversee daily performance and development of all Front Desk and Studio Support personnel.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Proven leadership and team management skills with experience coaching and developing staff.
  • A strong passion for fitness, wellness, and community‑building.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Clear and professional communication skills—both verbal and written.
  • Ability to analyze data and apply insights to improve performance and outcomes.

Minimum Educational Level/Certifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • CPR/AED certification required or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire.

Minimum Work Experience And Qualifications

  • 2‑4 years of experience in fitness, wellness, or boutique studio management roles.
  • Prior leadership of a team of 5‑10+ employees.
  • Demonstrated success in sales, customer service, and operations.
  • Familiarity with boutique platforms and scheduling software preferred.

Physical Demands/Environmental Conditions

  • Ability to move around the studio and assist with operations as needed.
  • Occasionally demonstrate or support equipment use.
  • Flexibility to work mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs.
  • Occasional travel (up to 20%) for meetings or training or coverage of related studios.
