Responsibilities The 3D Designer will lead the design, development, and technical execution of proprietary hardline merchandise and accessories.
Create compelling 3D digital designs and concepts for presentation to buyers, collaborating closely with the merchandise and product development teams
Address queries from factories and implement effective problem‑solving strategies throughout the production process
Communicate technical details and construction methods to manufacturing partners
Experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems is a plus
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Toy design, Digital design, Industrial design, or a related field with a focus on digital sculpture and/or 5 - 7 years of demonstrated experience
Strong Knowledge of human anatomy, ecorche’, form and function, including stylized forms (e.g., zombies, monsters) using both traditional and digital techniques
Expertise in 3D sculpting and modeling utilizing both organic and hard‑surface techniques
Ability to interpret 2D designs and execute finished 3D models for print and manufacturing, including file preparation for 3D printing
Proficiency in 3D software (e.g., ZBrush, Freeform, Maya, Lightwave 3D, Blender, Poser) is essential
Competency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.)
Experience in toy design & gaming a plus
Ability to collaborate effectively in a team‑oriented environment
The pay range reflects the potential base salary range for this role. Individual base pay is determined by various factors such as relevant experience and skills, and the scopeand responsibilities of the position.
Pay Range $70,000 - $80,000
