Hazen and Sawyer is seeking a CAD/BIM Designer with knowledge and experience using AutoCAD to design Civil and Mechanical piping for Water/Wastewater Treatment Plants and Pump Stations. As part of our team in Orlando, Florida, you will work alongside staff Engineers and Senior CAD Designers to produce 2D drawings using Autodesk software.

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare site layouts, enlarged plans, sections, and detailing for various civil site and process mechanical systems.
Act as a proactive team player to ensure projects stay on time and within budget.
Communicate effectively with team members to execute markups and understand design details.
Ensure drawing compliance with company and client CAD standards.
Demonstrate ambition to learn, communicate effectively, and collaborate with other team members.
Required Qualifications:
Completion of a technical school CAD design certificate or an Associate’s/Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Design, Drafting, or related field.
At least 2 years of experience with AutoCAD 2D.
Basic understanding of Civil Site piping and associated materials.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to coordinate with interdisciplinary groups.
Effective communication skills with attention to technical details.
