R13597**Position Specific Responsibilities/Accountabilities*** Work within LMU’s Office of Online Learning developing and coordinating the design of the University’s digital educational content in order to incorporate the best online learning practices and increase the quality and accessibility of LMU’s online coursework.* Responsible for developing and improving the content of LMU’s online educational materials, including course templates, interactive objectives, immersive technologies, animations, and 360 images/videos to ensure teachers and students like have easy access to technologically-current course content.* Leveraging advanced knowledge of instructional technology and multimedia design to advise faculty and administrative staff in designing and incorporating multimedia assets into instructional content and assist in developing digital solutions for online courses.* Oversee the acquisition of instructional materials, equipment, and visual aids designed to meet digital or eLearning needs, as well as maintain production equipment for online courses (e.g., 360 cameras, audio recording technology, etc.) and lead the production of online instructional content.**Loyola Marymount University Expectations**Exhibit behavior that supports the mission, vision, and values of the university.

Demonstrate a commitment to outstanding customer service.**Requisite Qualifications****:*** Master’s degree, or equivalent, in Education, Instructional Technology or related field plus one.* (1) year of Education, Instructional Technology or related experience: designing interactive learning assets to incorporate the best and most up-to-date online learning practices; utilizing Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, and Articulate Rise 360 to integrate digital content, graphics, animation, photography, illustrations, and interactive assets into instructional materials.* Evaluating curriculum and delivery methods, based on instructional effectiveness data, current or future performance requirements, feasibility, and costs.* Researching and evaluating emerging educational technologies and best learning practices and incorporating advancements; adapting instructional content to increase accessibility.* Collaborating with subject matter experts to develop instructional materials; redesigning existing online learning assets to enhance user experience.* Telecommuting permissible, must live within commuting distance.*The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed.
