Job Title: Studio Sales and Operations Manager
Reports to: Franchise Owner

Position
The Sales and Operations Manager is the cornerstone of any YogaSix studio and is responsible for its financial and experiential success. The manager is the proverbial captain of the ship, overseeing all aspects of studio functionality including Sales and Operations as well as the direct supervision of Wellness Advisors and Teachers. They are also responsible for ensuring the studio is well-maintained and that customer service standards are upheld to YogaSix standards. They must have a passion for sales & customer service, take pride in their excellent communication skills, be a dedicated team leader who drives results, and be passionate about health and wellness.
Responsibilities
- Revenue Generation: manage and grow all revenue streams including memberships, class packages, retail, and workshops/teacher trainings.
- Student Acquisition and Retention: support prospective students through lead generation, booking appointments, presenting membership options, onboarding new members, and optimizing class schedule.
- Marketing: create and execute ongoing marketing plan focused on new client acquisition, activation, retention and loyalty. Schedule/participate in Grassroots Marketing partnerships and manage social media.
- Leadership: recruit, hire, train, supervise, coach and mentor wellness advisors; recruit, hire, onboard, coordinate training, and terminate teachers.
- Studio Operations: manage studio budget, spending, and reporting; manage maintenance issues, inventory and cleaning; participate in studio, regional and company-wide meetings and trainings as needed; work closely with Studio Owner and Corporate Office to ensure health and profitability of the studio.
Job Requirements
- Sales & Management Experience
- 2+ years of retail/service sales or fitness sales experience.
- Confident in generating personal sales and training Wellness Advisors in sales.
- Experience supervising and training people successfully.
- Ability to manage and drive all revenue streams: memberships, retail, and teacher training.
- Proven experience in generating and following up on leads.
- Communication & People Skills
- Fluent in English with excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills both in person, on the telephone and via email.
- Ability to work harmoniously with co-workers, clients and the public.
- Remain calm at all times and act respectfully and professionally, even with frustrated customers.
- Strong customer service skills.

Physical Requirements
- Work hours that may exceed 8 hours per day and/or 40 hours per week, including nights and weekends during peak periods.
- May be required to sit or stand for up to four hours, reach with hands and arms, bend, lift, kneel, and drive a car. May occasionally lift up to 30 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities: close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust and focus.
- Must effectively hear in person and via telephone.
