SAP S/4HANA SCM Architect Location: Carmel, IN or Atlanta, GA - Onsite in the office with occasional travel to the client sites Travel: Up to 60% for workshops, deployments, and site visits. Employment Type: Full-time employment Hands-on S/4HANA SCM Architect who can lead design and build across planning, procurement, manufacturing, warehouse, and fulfillment, while configuring, prototyping, and guiding build teams. You will set the end-to-end SCM solution blueprint, integrate with adjacent platforms (IBP, BTP, Integration Suite), and drive delivery from discovery to hypercare. Procurement: MM/P2P, source-to-contract, pricing/conditions, supplier collaboration, consignment/subcontracting. Manufacturing: Discrete/process/repetitive, routings/BoMs, shop-floor execution, quality gates (QM), serialization/traceability. Logistics & Fulfillment: EWM (decentralized/embedded), inbound/outbound, slotting & rearrangement, labor mgmt basics, TM integration, shipping & global trade considerations. Data & Analytics: Master data governance touchpoints (MDG), migration/cutover, inventory accuracy, KPIs and operational reporting (CDS/Embedded Analytics). Integration: SAP Integration Suite (CPI), IDoc/OData/API Mgmt, EDI partners, 3PL/WMS/TMS, MES, and IBP. Extensibility: SAP BTP side-by-side apps (RAP/CAP), Fiori/UI5 for operational UX, workflow, and exception handling. Own the SCM architecture for S/4 programs (Greenfield/Brownfield/Selective Data Transition) from blueprint to go-live. define data models, error handling, monitoring, and operational runbooks. Drive performance and resilience (batch strategies, wave picking, MFS handshakes, aATP performance, inventory accuracy). Establish governance & quality: solution standards, testing strategy (incl. Partner with delivery leads and account teams on estimation, proposals, and solution reviews; uplevel configuration, documentation quality, and client communication. 15+ years SAP experience with 7+ years focused on S/4HANA SCM (public/private cloud or on-prem). ~ Led 3+ end-to-end S/4 implementations in SCM as solution/enterprise architect. ~ CPI/EDI/IDoc/API, 3PL/TMS/MES, and IBP process alignment. ~ Strong cutover/data migration experience (material master, BoM/routings, open POs/PRs, inventory balances). ~ Builder-leader: can architect and configure. ~ Experience with RISE with SAP, private cloud, and hyperscalers (Azure/AWS/GCP).
