This role offers the chance to build for a massive, fragmented, $1T+ annual industry alongside founder/CEO Alex Hult, a restaurateur who has scaled hospitality concepts to $50M+ in revenue, and founder/CTO Zia Hasnain, a technologist with 25+ years of experience building hardware, software, and AI at scale (Motorola, Nvidia). Backed by Sound Ventures, Rebellion Ventures, Cambrian VC and csuite angels like Keith Cox (Opentable), David Faugno (1Password), Mark Anderson (Cloudflare) and Doug Merritt (Splunk). As our first Head of Sales, you will define how we scale from early traction to $10M+ in the next year. You will own the full revenue function, shape our sales process, build and coach a worldclass sales team, and collaborate closely with the founders to evolve pricing, packaging and product. Revenue Engine & Scale: Own and execute our path from early traction to $10M+ ARR in the next year with 500+ restaurants on the platform by the end of 2026. Team Building & Leadership: Recruit, hire, and develop a worldclass sales team with a servantleadership approach; expand beyond the Bay Area in 2H by training regional sales managers. Become obsessed with our ideal customer profile and develop scalable, repeatable sales playbooks. HandsOn Deal Execution: Lead by example by closing deals while coaching your team; deeply learn and understand both prospective customers and field sales approach. Strong ProductGTM Feedback Loop: Collaborate with Product, Marketing and Customer Success to advocate customer needs, drive pricing and packaging evolution, and influence the roadmap. Systems & Operations: Build scalable sales processes that leverage AI and automation to drive the most efficient field sales team. Minimum 7+ years of progressive sales leadership with proven success scaling B2B companies from $1M to $10M+ ARR. Experience building and developing a worldclass sales team through a servantleadership approach, especially in a product requiring field sales. Handson execution mindsetwilling to close your own deals and achieve personal quota alongside team leadership. AI fluency with demonstrated ability to articulate how AI has impacted sales and incorporate it into sales operations. Experience in restaurant technology. Thought leader for sales through LinkedIn, webinars, community groups like Pavilion with an existing network of West Coast sales reps.
