Trademark/Copyright Associate Seattle
Our AmLaw 100 client is adding a junior associate to a nationally recognized Trademark, Copyright, Internet & Advertising team in Seattle. The group handles full-spectrum brand work for startups through Fortune 500 companies and is known for cross-border matters, online enforcement, and TTAB/UDRP proceedings.
Role Summary
- Trademark clearance, counseling, prosecution, and enforcement, including cease-and-desist strategy and portfolio management.
- TTAB proceedings and UDRP complaints; copyright counseling, filing, and prosecution.
- Work with high-growth and Fortune 500 clients across sectors, including online and advertising issues.
- 2-4 years of experience focused on trademarks and copyright; large-firm training preferred.
- Strong writing, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate and run pieces of matters independently.
- Join a top firm in this space with consistent national recognition in trademark and advertising work, including Chambers-ranked practices and WTR 1000 listings across key markets.
- Train and collaborate within a deep IP platform serving global brands and emerging companies.
- Competitive AmLaw compensation; current band for this level in Seattle is $235,000-$310,000, plus discretionary bonus and comprehensive benefits. Hybrid schedule.
