Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop custom machinery, tooling, and automation systems for fabrication and forming.
- Diagnose and resolve issues with existing tooling and mechanical systems.
- Create accurate 2D and 3D CAD models and prepare bills-of-materials.
- Support testing, documentation, and training for new designs entering production.
- Evaluate material choices and perform basic cost analysis.
- Collaborate closely with engineering and manufacturing teams.
- Education: Associate degree in mechanical design or equivalent experience required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Experience: 0–2 years for entry-level; 3–5 years for mid-level roles in engineering or machine design.
- Skills: Strong proficiency in CAD software and a solid understanding of manufacturing processes.
