Overview:
- Global Financial Firm is seeking an experienced professional for an immediate contract opportunity.
- This role follows a hybrid schedule with an expectation of being in the office 3 days a week.
- Candidates must have reliable internet, a computer, and an Android or iPhone for remote access.
- Video or face-to-face interviews are required prior to all offers.
Responsibilities:
- Document and report case review/investigation findings.
- Prepare case files for review including media search results, copies of statements/checks, and internal system search results.
- Conduct research over available bank systems, the Internet, and databases.
- Collect and examine financial statements/transaction data to identify unusual patterns.
- Follow-up with additional Points of Contact (POC) to gather more information.
- Document all research and analysis in the Case Management System.
- Create Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) and recommend relationship retention or termination.
- Liaise with other units, including CRIU, ACRM, Business, CSIS, FIU Legal, Trade Surveillance, and Law Enforcement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required.
- 1-5 years of experience in reviewing customer transactions for suspicious activity and performing AML or financial investigations.
- Experience in writing and preparing SARs in accordance with regulatory requirements preferred.
- CAMS Certification is a plus.
- Knowledge of laws applicable to money laundering and financial/securities-related crimes.
- General understanding of Senior Public Figures, Money Service Businesses, Wealth Management, and Retail Banking preferred.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and project management skills.
- Strong research skills with experience using online search tools.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Strong writing, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and complete projects on time.
