RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design web and print marketing assets for various product lines within Microsoft and 3rd party retailer brands
  • Manage and execute hundreds of assets with quick turn-arounds and tight deadlines while tailoring to brand guidelines
  • Graphic asset responsibilities include web-ready onsite/offsite banners, in-store prints, display ads, in-store device screen or Kiosk demo experience, landing page/PDP assets, slide presentation decks and social media content
  • Support in-store graphic executions by applying artwork to 3D renders in Photoshop (no 3D software skills necessary)
  • Ability to prepare print-ready files following provided specifications
  • Create motion/animation graphic assets as needed
  • Perform basic video edits such as trimming clips, removing sound and resizing
  • Partner with Designers, PMs, and Channel Managers on product campaigns/launches to promote and drive brand awareness across US retail
  • Manage MSFT leader approvals of graphic assets
  • Prepare digital proofs to ensure accuracy and alignment with project requirements for approval
  • Follow and stay up to date on retailer brand guidelines to ensure all designs meet the required standards

REQUIREMENTS

  • BA or BS in Design, Fine Arts or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in graphic or visual design
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite
  • Experience with project management tools, preferably Smartsheet
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating a variety of creative assets following design best practices
  • Strong communication skills and ability to cultivate strong relationships with cross-functional teams

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
