Position Overview
The Marketing Content Creator will develop compelling, technically accurate, and brand-aligned content for Murrelektronik North America. This role blends creativity with industrial automation expertise—crafting product information documents, social media content, marketing collateral, and digital assets that support sales, branding, and customer education.
The ideal candidate has hands‑on experience creating content within technical B2B sectors, preferably industrial automation, electrical engineering, or manufacturing. They should be comfortable using Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro), and digital publishing tools.
Key Responsibilities
Content Development
- Create clear, engaging product information documents, brochures, spec sheets, and application notes.
- Translate complex technical details into user-friendly content tailored for engineers, integrators, and OEMs.
- Develop creative storytelling concepts supporting product launches, campaigns, and brand initiatives.
- Produce visual and written content for social media, websites, email marketing, and trade show promotion.
Brand & Creative
- Ensure all content follows Murrelektronik’s brand guidelines, tone of voice, and design standards.
- Collaborate with marketing leadership to evolve brand expression in North America.
- Design digital and print collateral using Canva and Adobe Suite.
Digital Media
- Create short‑form videos, graphics, animations, and motion content for LinkedIn, YouTube, and other platforms.
- Capture or source photography, product visuals, and application imagery for use in marketing assets.
- Assist in managing social media calendars, campaign themes, and channel optimization.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
- Work with Marketing Manager, Product Management, Sales, and Engineering to gather accurate product data and application insights.
- Collaborate with local and global Marketing colleagues to localize or create region‑specific content.
Required Qualifications
- 2–4+ years of experience in B2B content creation, preferably in industrial automation, electrical engineering, robotics, or manufacturing technology.
- Proficiency in Canva and Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro).
- Experience creating product information documents, spec sheets, and customer‑facing technical materials.
- Strong writing and visual communication skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts.
- Familiarity with social media strategies for LinkedIn, YouTube, and emerging channels.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and cross‑functional communication.
- Portfolio demonstrating relevant technical and creative content work.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting B2B product launches and trade show marketing.
- Basic understanding of industrial automation components (I/O, connectivity, power supplies, PLCs, fieldbus networks).
- Photography or video editing skills.
- Knowledge of marketing automation tools.
