Job Overview
Wasserman is looking for an ambitious Graphic Designer who makes great layouts, loves clean type, and creates designs that actually hit. You should be curious and excited to work across sports, music, entertainment, and whatever else comes your way. Some days you’ll support our creator team or talent representation and marketing departments, and other days you’ll be building graphics for social channels, pitch decks, event booths, or a print piece.
What You'll Do
You can take direction from written or spoken briefs and turn them into fresh visuals that look intentional and feel genuinely compelling. You have strong layout and typography skills and know how to build a visual system that stays consistent without slipping into boring or corporate‑cringe. Bonus points if you enjoy motion and animation and want to push those skills further. We work at a quick pace, so being comfortable in a fast environment is key. You thrive in a team setting but you’re just as confident working independently when needed. Interest in still and video content capturing is a plus, with the opportunity to attend major sporting, music, and cultural events.
Additional Details
This is a permanent role in any city where Wasserman is based, but PT hours are preferred. Hybrid in‑office 3 days a week, along with additional in‑person event coverage as needed.
What You’ll Actually Do
- Work simultaneously on multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Execute visually compelling design requests to support the needs of the company.
- Craft static and motion/video assets for Instagram, X, and TikTok, ensuring each is optimized for its platform.
- Create logos and graphics.
- Produce light motion graphics and animation.
- Develop presentation and digital marketing materials (decks).
- Create compelling digital and social content from start to finish.
- Stay connected to cultural trends in graphic design so our work stays fresh and relevant.
- Manage your time efficiently and communicate clearly with your manager and team to stay aligned.
- Limited travel may be required based on team needs.
Who You Are
- 2+ years of experience developing digital creative assets in an ad agency or similar environment.
- Interest in emerging tools and technologies.
- Creative thinking and drive for innovation.
- Passion for sports, music, and entertainment.
- Able to present work internally, explain creative decisions, and take feedback constructively.
- Flexible schedule when live events or timelines require support, including nights or weekends.
- Solid grasp of all major social platforms and their creative features.
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Adobe Premiere & After Effects.
Base Salary
Base salary range: $80k - $100k, plus bonus potential if applicable for role.
Actual base salary is dependent on market dynamics, location, experience, specialized skills, and other factors. The salary range listed is one component of the total compensation package for employees.
