Marketing Job Description Responsible for planning and implementing marketing and advertising activities aimed at increasing sales and company growth. Must understand the extensive details of marketing and are familiar with ways to analyze market research and customers' behavior. Competitive analysis. Determining what marketing tactics competitors are using. Assisting with inbound or outbound marketing activities, such as event planning and advertising.
