Summary

The Sr. Brand, PR & Communications Manager will elevate how the world sees and experiences the Smarsh brand, driving brand visibility, reputation, and influence across global markets. Reporting to the VP of Brand Marketing, you’ll lead integrated brand, PR, and communications strategies that position Smarsh as the category leader in communications intelligence and the trusted partner for compliance‑driven innovation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Brand Leadership
    Execute a brand strategy that positions Smarsh as the market leader; ensure consistent brand expression across all channels; partner with design, product, and BU marketing to bring the brand to life; measure and report on brand health, share of voice, media sentiment, and coverage quality.
  • Public Relations & Media
    Lead global PR strategy with a focus on AI and data discoverability; manage relationships with U.S. and U.K. PR agencies; engage journalists, analysts, and influencers; oversee executive visibility programs; own crisis communications.
  • Campaign & Content Oversight
    Oversee integrated brand and communications campaigns; collaborate with demand generation, product marketing, and digital teams; lead development of core messaging, press materials, thought leadership, and customer success stories.
  • Customer Advocacy
    Partner with business units to source and nurture customer advocates; transform success stories into testimonials, case studies, and speaking engagements; activate advocates across PR, media, and campaigns.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in global brand management, PR, or communications, ideally within B2B technology, SaaS, or regulated industries.
  • Proven success developing and executing integrated brand, PR, and communications strategies that deliver measurable impact.
  • Strong agency management and media/influencer relationship experience across regions.
  • Expertise in reputation management and crisis communications.
  • Experience managing and mentoring direct reports.
  • Exceptional writing and storytelling skills, capable of translating complex technology into clear narratives.
  • Collaborative, agile, and results‑driven leader who thrives in fast‑paced, high‑growth environments.

Salary Range
$127,000 - $164,000 a year (base salary; bonus details discussed during recruiting). Salary is based on internal equity, experience, education, location, and other factors. The company performs local cost‑of‑living assessments for new hires.
