About the job

At Google, we follow a simple but vital premise: "Focus on the user and all else will follow." UX Programs & Operations at Google drive projects within our UX organizations by increasing communication and connection points, streamlining the UX design process, and driving a culture of user‑centered development.

Google User Experience (UX) is made up of multi‑disciplinary teams of UX Designers, Researchers, Writers, Content Strategists, Program Managers, and Engineers. The UX team plays an integral part in gathering insights about the attitudes, emotions, and behaviors of people who use our products to inspire and inform design. We collaborate closely with engineering and product management to create industry‑leading products that deliver value for the people who use them and for Google’s businesses.

As a UX Program Manager for Research Operations, you will separately execute end‑to‑end UX programs with a specific focus on transforming our vendor landscape and optimizing global recruitment operations. You will be the driver of a critical operational shift, reshaping our approach from exclusively human‑led processes to agentic workflows that create deeper velocity for how UX research insights are generated.

In this role you will manage global vendor engagements across Phoenix, Manila, and Dublin, maintain optimal staffing states while unblocking participant access challenges for UX Researchers, and apply your knowledge of UX processes to drive continuous improvement. You will own scoping and delivering program goals that modernize how we gather user insights, balancing operational excellence with strategic relationship building.

Responsibilities

  • Manage vendor engagements with recruitment coordinators to maintain staffing at optimal states. Oversee global operations across Phoenix, Manila, and Dublin to ensure recruitment velocity and operational excellence.
  • Drive a large‑scale transformation to reshape our vendor landscape, shifting from exclusively human‑led operations to agentic workflows that increase the speed of generating UX research insights.
  • Streamline and optimize current workflows for participant recruitment, screening, and coordination. Navigate tooling transitions to ensure participant pipelines are efficiently managed and engaged, driving recruitment velocity by unblocking access challenges experienced by researchers.
  • Establish operational reports to provide visibility and transparency on recruitment performance and vendor efficiency. Use investigative skills to extract data and question vendor insights to maintain optimal staffing states and drive improvements in the recruitment life‑cycle.
