What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Lead HR communications for Collins Aerospace, developing and executing integrated communications plans aligned with business priorities
Oversee executive communications for the Collins CHRO and serve as the key communications lead on the Collins HR Leadership Team
Manage a team responsible for HR communications for Pratt & Whitney and Raytheon, ensuring consistency and alignment
Collaborate with the Employee Communications team to integrate HR communications into the broader communications strategy
Measure and evaluate the effectiveness of communication strategies and adjust plans based on feedback and analytics
What is Required (Qualifications)
Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 12 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years of experience, or 16 years of relevant experience in absence of a degree
Deep management and leadership knowledge to lead cross-department project teams or manage across multiple related departments
Proven experience in employee and executive communications, preferably in a corporate environment
Excellent writing and editing skills with a commitment to delivering high-quality work
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while prioritizing multiple projects
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, journalism, or a related field with at least 12 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field with 8-10 years of experience
Experience in developing and executing employee communication strategies with measurable outcomes that contribute to business goals
Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior leaders
Strategic thinker capable of translating complex ideas into clear, concise messaging
Knowledge of continuous improvement practices through metrics and feedback collection
