Salary 55,000–70,000 USD per year plus additional incentive opportunities; benefits, PTO and other perks included.

Job Description Summary The Community Relations Representative focuses on promoting and educating individuals, healthcare professionals, and assisted living/skilled nursing facility personnel to increase awareness of and help set up patients with hospice services.
Essential Job Functions / Responsibilities
Meet with potential hospice patients and family members to share the benefits of hospice services and provide overviews of the hospice benefit.
Work to meet and exceed admission goals.
Present to large and small groups.
Develop and maintain relationships with various community organizations.
Work with the local interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless end‑of‑life care.
Maintain comprehensive working knowledge of the agencies market, including key referral sources and positioning opportunities.
Maintain comprehensive knowledge in the field of marketing and share appropriate information with organizational personnel.
Execute marketing promotional initiatives to achieve projections.
Find opportunities in the community to educate and present on the basics of hospice care and its benefits.
Track and document prospecting activity in an organized and efficient manner.
Covers Helena, Montana and an 80-mile radius outside of Helena to ensure that city and rural areas within the territory are effectively supported.
Organize and attend education lunch and learns, local chamber events, and community "Hospice 101" meetings to teach and educate those in the community.
Learn and understand the importance of compliance as it relates to running a successful hospice agency.
Document appropriate activity while maintaining security and privacy policies.
Position Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Previous account management and/or sales experience preferred.
Three (3) years’ experience in health care preferred.
Previous hospice or senior care experience preferred.
Ability to market and deal tactfully with potential patients and families in the community.
Demonstrates compassion, kindness, and understanding.
Demonstrates good communication, negotiation, and public relations skills.
Demonstrates autonomy, organization, assertiveness, flexibility, and cooperation in performing job responsibilities.
Willingness to travel an 80‑mile radius of Helena, Montana to meet the needs of potential patients, community partners, and the interdisciplinary team.
