WEB CONTENT SPECIALIST at Apex Systems

Our healthcare client is searching for a Web Content Specialist to join their team. This role is responsible for maintaining and enhancing the company website and digital communications through their CMS.

This is a full time direct hire role hybrid in St. Louis, MO.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily website operations and administration through the content management system (CMS).
• Format, upload, and organize HTML content, media, and files to ensure optimal performance and accessibility.
• Develop, schedule, and distribute broadcast email communications while maintaining brand consistency.
• Review, edit, and proof content for clarity, style, and functionality across web and email platforms.
• Collaborate with communications directors, content leaders, IT, and publications teams to execute design and content strategies.
• Manage email distribution lists, audience segmentation, and maintain accuracy within email platforms.
• Utilize design tools (Canva, Adobe Acrobat, Photoshop) to create and support visual content and graphics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, marketing, communications, or equivalent work experience.
• 3-5 years of experience in web content management and digital communications.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in CMS platforms (Sitefinity preferred), HTML/CSS, and digital asset management tools.
• Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat, Photoshop, and Canva.
• Familiarity with UI/UX principles, accessibility standards, and email distribution platforms (HubSpot preferred).

This position may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data. It is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
