Job Description
GIS Analyst / Project Lead Location: 955 Park St, Columbia, SC 29223 Position Type: Fully Onsite Contract Duration: 12 Months (Possibility of Extension) Interview Process: 1 Round

Responsibilities: Produce digital/hard copy maps in advanced GIS/Mapping applications Perform GIS data collection, maintenance and analysis Update database tables to reflect changes to the GIS features used in GIS analysis and in mapping as assigned by the supervisor. Perform quality control on the new and existing data to maintain correctness and spatial accuracy standards Assist in the development and maintenance of procedure manuals Completes software/procedures research/testing as assigned by the manager Performs related tasks as assigned by the manager.
Required Skills: Knowledge and experience working with GIS/Mapping software and applications, Experience working with a spatial database, Microsoft Office, experience with cartography, experience with database design
Preferred Skills: Knowledge and experience with ArcGIS Pro, experience with a SQL database, Experience with ArcGIS roads and highways extension
Education Bachelors degree, Preferred field of study includes Geography, Computer Science, GIS, or Physical Science
