Qualifications & Requirements: Previous media relations & broadcasting experience required MUST

be available for the full duration of the position Computer literate (knowledge of Word and Excel are a must) Knowledge of Photoshop & InDesign preferred Experience with Social Media Marketing Strong communication skills (written & verbal) Team player and friendly personality Strong customer service skills Ability to multi-task with little supervision Duties:

Produce in-studio road broadcasts. Opportunity for play-by-play and/or color on the Sea Dogs Radio Network during home games. Interview players for feature stories, pre-game radio guests and Portland Sea Dogs Podcast Opportunity to host pre and postgame show. Write game recaps Coordinate interview requests with the media and the players. Assist in writing and distributing press releases Assist in producing daily game notes Distribute daily game notes, stats, rosters, and lineups to press box and clubhouses. Gather lineups and distribute to clubhouses, press box, and staff. Assist in the maintenance of the team website Assist in maintaining social networking sites; Facebook, X, Instagram, Tik Tok, etc. Upkeep on all statistical archives throughout the years (milestones, team records, etc.) Assist in gathering player headshots. Organize photo archives throughout the season Set-up Press Box including cleaning, stats, and refill cooler. Help oversee the press box Occasionally assist with food delivery to press box Maintain player information sheets with contact information throughout the season. Assist in the production of team baseball card set. Coordinate players for the Sea Dogs Autograph table Continue to cultivate potential story ideas, upcoming promotions, player achievements, etc for the media. Assist lead broadcaster Assist with tarp duties Other duties as assigned.
