We review all resumes; however, candidates with experience in the following areas are strongly preferred:
• Hotel/Corporate in-house AV
• Hotel/Corporate freelance AV
• Convention centers, tradeshows, sporting arenas, exclusive event venues

Operational / Technical Expectations
• 1-2 years of AV management experience within a hospitality-focused environment (hotels, conference centers, meeting facilities)
• Support the Director of Event Technology in daily hotel AV operations and team oversight
• Build strong relationships with hotel management, support staff, clients, event planners, and KVL leadership
• Manage scheduling for hotel AV technicians

Sales Responsibilities:
• Strong AV sales experience with exceptional attention to detail
• Generate new business opportunities within the hotel and surrounding markets
• Prospect, solicit RFPs, and prepare accurate quotes

Inventory Responsibilities:
• Oversee AV equipment inventory
• Source and negotiate cross-rentals and ensure their safe return
• Coordinate logistics for all incoming/outgoing equipment
• Maintain open communication with other KVL property inventories

Technical Knowledge:
Audio: Advanced understanding; ability to step into basic audio roles on analog and digital consoles
Video: Advanced understanding; capable of basic switching, projection, and GFX operations
Lighting: Advanced understanding; capable of basic dimming, spot lighting, stage washing, and up-lighting to enhance room ambience

Salary range: $55,000 - $65,000
