E2 is looking for a Cathodic Protection Designer to join our team and complete designs for any projects involving cathodic protection. This role includes design, planning, coordinating and completing tasks/projects related to cathodic protection in natural gas pipelines and related equipment.
Responsibilities
Design and develop cathodic protection systems for pipelines, tanks, and other infrastructure.
Conduct field surveys and assessments to determine the condition of existing cathodic protection systems.
Prepare detailed design drawings, specifications, and technical reports.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure designs meet project requirements and standards.
Assist in the preparation of cost estimates and project proposals.
Provide technical support during installation and commissioning of cathodic protection systems.
Qualifications
4-10 years of experience in cathodic protection design.
Proficiency in using design software such as AutoCAD and CP design tools.
Strong understanding of corrosion principles and protection methods.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Corrosion Science, or a related field.
Certification from the National Association of Corrosion Engineers (NACE) as a Cathodic Protection Technician or Specialist.
Experience with cathodic protection systems for natural gas utilities.
Knowledge of industry standards and regulations (e.g., NACE, ASTM).

Wage Salary range for this position is $70,000 – $105,000, commensurate with skill, education, experience, and working environment.

This job operates in a professional office environment and uses standard office equipment such as computers and phones.
Physical Demands
Ability to sit/stand for up to 8 hours per day.
Ability to move freely for up to 8 hours per day.
