We’re a growing company that designs and manufactures playground equipment for communities all around the world. We’re looking for a CAD Playground Designer to work at Burke Headquarters and be part of our great team.

It requires hard work, a lot of innovation, enthusiasm and, of course, an abundance of Purple Passion (a love of play, bringing play to communities and a specific love of Burke and those you work with). If you’re a creative person with 2D or 3D CAD experience who loves to bring ideas to life – we have the role for you!
The Role This role will create playground designs that inspire movement, growth, development and FUN! Using our proprietary design software, you will prepare playground layout drawings, site plans and footing drawings that meet current playground safety guidelines. You will collaborate with our internal teams and customers to achieve our mission of bringing play that moves you to communities around the world.
Teamwork We have an awesome team at Burke and the right individual for this role will fit well within our culture of teamwork, straightforward and open communication. You should also have a passion for play.
Qualifications
A minimum of an Associate’s degree in a related field, or related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
High self‑initiative, excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to demonstrate creative style and communicate designs to a variety of stakeholders.
Command of a 2D or 3D CAD program and willingness to learn Burke’s internal system.
Strong organizational and follow‑up skills, ability to multi‑task and strong attention to detail.
