, you will:
Review and evaluate existing in-process and final assembly inspection instructions to ensure theyare clear, comprehensible, and accurate. Ensure inspection instructions align with current manufacturing process instructions, blueprintsprocess specifications, and customer requirements. Evaluate inspection instructions using data from field failures, in-process nonconformances,customer feedback, and factory acceptance testing failures. Identify necessary updates to inspection instructions to improve clarity and effectiveness. Collaborate with manufacturing technicians, quality assurance, inspectors, quality engineers, anddesign engineers from electrical, mechanical, and optical functions. Maintain up-to-date records of all inspection instructions and revisions'
The ideal candidate will have :
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or related field. 2-3 years of industry experience in a technical role. Strong technical writing skills are essential. Experience with inspection methodologies, hand tooling, and visual inspections. Ability to work autonomously.
Preferred Additional Skills:
Knowledge of CMM inspection software or Keyence inspection systems is a plus. Familiarity with ISO 9001 requirements and MIL-STD-810 is preferred.
Advantageous but not required:
Certifications such as Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Technical Writing Certification, or knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) Experience in the field of night vision goggles or precision aiming devices is not required, but a general background in precision manufacturing is preferred

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS: Pay Range*:
$34-$36 per hour *Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
