Duties and Responsibilities

Coordinate and implement marketing projects (including print, web, video, advertising, events) from concept to completion to engage target audiences. Set deadlines, develop and follow detailed project management plans, work closely with creative leads, monitor and summarize progress of project. Coordinate print buying and other services with outside vendors.

Plan and manage budget and vendor payments for departments related to marketing projects. Responsible for statements of work, purchase orders, approvals and coordination with departments to determine best use of funds.

Develop, analyze and manage reporting on marketing performance metrics. Report on key success metrics and analytics to provide thorough business analysis and strategic program and tactical recommendations. Use ongoing analytics to make changes to program and marketing roadmaps/campaigns informed by audience response.

Develop proactive outreach plan for university partners and maintain partnerships across campus.

In collaboration with university department representatives and OMC, develop, manage and execute strategic marketing briefs and plans (as appropriate) to achieve partners’ goals and objectives.

Quality assurance responsibilities for all projects.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, public relations, advertising, business communications or related field required.

3 years project and/or account management experience in a marketing context.

Knowledge of marketing and campaign planning, implementation and measurement.

Demonstrated experience with print buying.

Excellent project management, organizational and time‑management skills.

Proficient with Microsoft Office and Wrike, or other project management software.

Ability to identify objectives and plan, budget and execute marketing projects in support of stated objectives.

Strong interpersonal ability and written and verbal communication skills.

Willingness to support Marquette’s Catholic, Jesuit mission.

Proactive desire to learn new tools and technology.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Familiarity with Content Management Systems for making web updates.

Familiarity with Marquette University.

Experience working in higher education or health care.
