The
Instructional Systems Designer
(ISD) will analyze, design, develop, and evaluate courses and training programs for personnel using a standardized approach to training (SAT) process and established course development policies. The ISD will collaborate with instructors and subject matter experts (SMEs) to produce classroom, scenario-based, and online instructional materials. The role requires creating engaging and effective training materials and job aids using state-of-the-art instructional strategies and techniques, while maintaining appropriate security clearances and system access.
Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Must have an active Top Secret/DOE Q clearance with SCI eligibility.
Contingent upon award of Contract.
Responsibilities :
Collaborate with team members and SMEs to design, develop, and maintain engaging instructional materials for classroom, scenario-based, and online learning Serve as project manager for course planning and development, including writing project plans, tracking milestones, and ensuring timely submission of deliverables Conduct needs assessments and job analyses to recommend instructional sequencing and performance interventions Evaluate training effectiveness by assessing performance outcomes and implementing improvements as needed Explore and recommend new technologies to enhance instructional effectiveness and performance improvement Apply and follow safety, security, and clearance requirements in all instructional activities Qualifications :
Undergraduate degree in instructional design, education, or a related training-specific field Minimum of three (3) years' experience as an instructional designer or curriculum developer Experience in planning and executing multiple long-term projects simultaneously Strong collaboration, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
