SCHEDULE/ENVIRONMENT: On site and Hybrid (2 days)
Job Description We're looking for an outstanding mechanical engineer drafter who combines superb technical and analytical capabilities with a demonstrated ability to get the right things done quickly and effectively. This person will be responsible for developing 3D families and layouts of material handling equipment using Autodesk Revit, as well as producing 10-page detailed specification documents. The right candidate will be able to work independently with numerous stakeholders and deliver to a high standard.
Quality, accuracy, attention to detail, ability to simplify designs, and strong communication skills.
Revit 3D software experience.
Parametric solid modeling experience / Drawing packet creation experience.
MUST HAVES
Bachelor's degree or higher in a STEM field - Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physical Engineering, Aerospace, Physics, Mathematics (any math-heavy focus).
3+ years experience working in a 3D environment
Experience delivering detailed drawing packets that include views, dimensions, and annotations while following established standards and templates (specifically for buildings)
Strong communication and writing skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with ambiguous direction.
Ability to establish priorities, work independently or within a group, and operate with minimal supervision.
NICE TO HAVES
Experience with Revit
Strong parametric modeling bckgrnd with experience creating detailed families and/or parts that utilize code or functions to drive modularity.
Knowledge of material handling equipment, storage systems, and warehouse design.
Preference to HVAC, piping, or MEP design.
Experience with Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD, ACC, and Navisworks.
Experience creating and/or improving upon drawing standards and SOPs.
Familiarity with managing different levels of detail with scalability.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $39.50/hr.
