Graphic Artist
The BD Graphic Artist is a talented and detail-oriented creative professional who thrives in a corporate environment, values consistency, and brings innovative thinking to branded communications. They play a key role in designing high-impact RFP submissions, compelling PowerPoint presentations, and cohesive graphic elements that align with our brand identity.
Key responsibilities include:
- Working with departmental teams to develop collateral that supports pre- and post-sales deliverables, such as RFPs, finalist presentations, white papers, case studies, infographics, brochures, placemats, and other special projects.
- Designing and laying out formal RFP submissions, ensuring clarity, visual appeal, and adherence to brand guidelines.
- Creating engaging, polished, and brand-aligned PowerPoint presentations.
- Developing custom designs for revenue-generating deliverables that fulfill the needs and expectations of producers and clients to win and keep business.
- Maintaining brand consistency across all creative outputs while exploring opportunities for visual enhancement within brand parameters.
- Contributing fresh ideas and creative solutions for various revenue-generating sales materials and communication initiatives.
- Participating in brainstorming sessions and contributing to design planning and strategy.
Qualifications required:
- 5+ years of experience in employee benefits design and production.
- Bachelor's degree in design, communications, marketing, or a related field.
- Professionally trained and proficient in the Adobe Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and Microsoft Office products, particularly PowerPoint.
- Experience creating and working with templates, paragraph/character styles, and style sheets.
- Experience in digital, print, and/or broadcast communications is required.
- Strong understanding of layout, typography, and visual hierarchy.
- Experience with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Monday.com) and cloud-based collaboration platforms (e.g., SharePoint, Teams).
- Insurance brokerage or industry knowledge is desired.
- Editorial or agency experience is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with team members and across departments; we are a highly collaborative team, but you must also be able to work independently and manage timelines effectively.

Experience and education:

- Applied Epic experience preferred, but knowledge of similar Account Management System (AMS) is acceptable.
Physical requirements:
- Ability to lift 25 pounds.
- Repeated use of sight to read documents and computer screens.

- Repetitive hand movements, such as keyboarding, writing, 10-key.
