Job Summary
We are seeking a Social Media Manager to join our team of strategists. Our ideal social media Monster would be obsessed with developing and executing great social media and content strategy, monitoring performance, and fostering a vibrant social community. This role requires a deep understanding of current social media trends and best practices. This person would report to the Strategy Director.
Responsibilities
- Find weekly relevant trends for our brands to participate in
- Stay on top of culture and social platform updates and best practices (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Threads)
- Coordinate the creation of organic social content across departments, ensuring timelines are met
- Contribute to content ideation and production of real-time trend content
- Plan and schedule the content calendar, ensuring a strategic posting cadence
- Execute proactive and reactive community engagement activities, including commenting, UGC collection, and any of platform community tools
- Social listening to identify real-time engagement opportunities and content development insights
- Track, and analyze the performance of social media posts and channels and make recommendations accordingly
- Coordinate and communicate with clients to gather needs and gain approval on monthly content
Qualifications
- 2-4 years of social media experience
- Deep understanding of social platforms and how to achieve engagement objectives on each
- Experience using a social media tool for publishing and reporting
- Proactive, driven, and creative individual with strong organizational skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
Bonus
- Experience with restaurant or food & beverage social media
- Strong personal social media presence
- TikTok content creation experience
