Part of Charter Communications, Spectrum News is a network of over 30 hyper‑local news and regional sports channels that constantly expands and is dedicated to producing unbiased, high‑quality content. The newsroom, its app, and connected television provide 24‑hour news that inform viewers about essential local stories.

Responsibilities
As an Associate Producer, you collaborate with producers to craft compelling stories, tackle sensitive topics, and present character‑driven narratives that connect audiences to what matters in their community.
Required Qualifications
- Television news experience: 0–2 years
- High school diploma (or equivalent)
- Knowledge of current events, social media, and industry trends
- Ability to collaborate, strong news‑writing skills, and meticulous attention to detail
- Willingness to travel to uncover stories in your neighborhood and engage with the community
- Flexible to work different shifts and schedule changes
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism or another related field, or comparable work experience
- Working knowledge of office software, newsroom software, and basic non‑linear editing systems
- Ability to lift up to five pounds
Working Conditions
- Primarily indoors in a climate‑controlled environment; occasional field assignments
- Semi‑noisy newsroom setting
