This role is responsible for leading the architecture and design of a large-scale migration from Nintex workflows to the Microsoft Power Platform, ensuring technical excellence, scalability, and compliance. The Solution Designer will define best practices, guide development teams, and oversee solution delivery across multiple business units. This position requires strong collaboration with stakeholders, a strategic mindset, and hands‑on technical expertise. The role is fully remote but requires alignment with the Eastern Time Zone. Success in this position demands deep knowledge of Power Platform, integration strategies, and enterprise‑level solution design.
Accountabilities
Lead the end-to-end solution design and migration approach from Nintex to Power Platform, ensuring alignment with Microsoft best practices.
Analyze existing workflows and map capabilities to Power Platform components, including Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI, and Dataverse.
Design scalable, maintainable, and secure workflow and application solutions, identifying and mitigating gaps or limitations.
Provide technical leadership, governance, and oversight for development, testing, and deployment phases.
Establish and enforce standards, best practices, and ALM strategies for Power Platform solutions.
Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and client stakeholders to ensure solution alignment with business goals.
Support knowledge transfer, documentation, and training for project teams and client personnel.
Requirements
8+ years of experience in solution design, architecture, or technical leadership roles.
Proven experience designing and implementing Microsoft Power Platform solutions (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI, Dataverse).
Strong understanding of Nintex workflows/forms (on‑premises or O365) and migration strategies.
Experience integrating Microsoft 365, SharePoint Online, Azure, and third‑party systems.
Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, communication, and documentation skills.
Preferred: Microsoft certifications (Power Platform Solution Architect Expert, Functional Consultant, or Microsoft 365 Certified), experience with ALM, DevOps for Power Platform, governance, compliance, and Agile delivery.
