Qualifications and Requirements 2 years of experience with BS/BA, 0 years of experience with MS/MA Public Trust Clearance or ability to obtain one Must be a US Citizen Current active IAT II certification (Security+) with related software development Computing Environment (CE) certification(s) to comply with DoD 8570 and DoD 8140.03 requirements (preferred) Primary work locations in Tacoma, WA, Aurora, CO, San Antonio, TX, and Falls Church, Remote work may be considered in special cases when approved by the customer. Experience working within Military Health environments is a plus Proficiency in web development languages like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Familiarity with web development concepts, such as responsive design and caching. Strong problem-solving and debugging skills. Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with various stakeholders. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks. Desired Skills BA/BS degree in an IT or math related field plus 4+ years progressive experience in related Web Development roles preferred Familiarity working in an Agile development environment (preferred) Familiarity with tools like Figma, JIRA, or Confluence (preferred) Peraton is seeking a Junior Web Developer. A Junior Web Developer Iwrites and maintains website code using languages like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript;collaborating with designers and stakeholders to create user-friendly interfaces;testing and debugging to ensure functionality;and performing tasks like content updates and site backups.The role focuses on technical execution, often within an agile team, to bring project requirements to life and ensure the website is stable and performs well. Position is contingent upon contract award. Key Responsibilities Write, test, and debug code using languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to build and maintain websites and web applications. Work with designers, project managers, and other team members to discuss needs, plan projects, and integrate visual elements. Perform regular testing and validation to identify and fix bugs, ensuring code quality and a smooth user experience. Update website content, perform backups, and make small edits to ensure the site remains operational and up-to-date. Analyze user needs and technical requirements to develop and suggest solutions for improving existing websites.
