I am a consultant working with a statewide Democratic political campaign in Massachusetts. I'm looking for an enterprising videographer who’d be willing to regularly cover events with the candidate.
What the role looks like:
You’d be on the move, covering events and following the candidate around the state
Hours are irregular: some long days, some light days, and plenty of last‑minute changes. Campaign life isn’t glamorous, but it is fast‑paced and creative.
Pay is negotiable depending on experience.
Strong editing and post‑production skills are required. We need someone who can quickly turn around compelling, high‑energy clips for social media, ads, and rapid‑response moments.
Great fit for someone looking to build a political portfolio, expand their network, and get behind‑the‑scenes experience in a competitive race.
Ideal candidate:
Comfortable shooting on the fly and in dynamic environments
Reliable, organized, and okay with some chaos
Has their own equipment (preferred but not mandatory)
Creative eye for storytelling
Ready to start ASAP
