Regular Full -Time positions are guaranteed 40 hours per work week and are eligible for all Army NAF benefits.

Duties
Performs a wide variety of public service duties (e.g. circulation, interlibrary loans, etc.); technical service duties (e.g. cataloging, acquiring and de-acquisitioning of library materials, etc.); and systems application and maintenance.
Performs selected administrative management duties to include ensuring internal controls are in place in public services and/or technical services. May manage a branch library.
Trains others in the performance of library technician duties, plans work and sets priorities to improve production and increase quality.
Performs the full range of supervisory duties, including recommending recruitment or reassignment actions, conducts performance appraisals and submits for approval by the manager.
Initiates or recommends disciplinary actions; initiates recommendation for awards and pay adjustments, recommends employee development and training programs, work schedules, etc. Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
A one-year probationary period may be required.
Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2 to include a Tier 1 background investigation.
Incumbent may be subject to additional background checks if required to have regular and recurring contact with children.
