Our client is seeking a Marketing Content Specialist with exceptional copywriting and content development expertise to join their dynamic communications team. This role is ideal for a versatile writer who thrives in fast‑paced environments and can deliver compelling, brand‑aligned messaging across diverse platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as the lead researcher, writer, and editor for a broad range of marketing and communications initiatives.
Develop clear, persuasive, and engaging copy tailored to varied audiences.
Proofread and edit materials to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand standards.
Collaborate with stakeholders to create internal documents such as briefings, policy memos, and program proposals.
Apply strong research skills to support content development and ensure messaging reflects industry trends and best practices.
Produce content for:
Fundraising and donor communications (appeal letters, proposals, stewardship reports)
Campaign-related promotional materials and newsletters
Executive communications, including speeches, remarks, and internal messaging
Marketing collateral such as viewbooks, inserts, and email campaigns
News and feature stories highlighting organizational initiatives, success stories, and profiles
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, journalism, or a related field.
Minimum of 4 years of progressive experience in deadline-driven content creation roles, with a strong emphasis on writing.
Proven ability to monitor and optimize marketing KPIs.
Demonstrated capacity to manage multiple projects independently with professionalism, tact, and sound judgment.
Experience coordinating assignments with both internal teams and external vendors.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions and remain current with emerging marketing trends.
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and advanced internet research skills.
Ability to quickly learn new technologies and apply web best practices.
