As Marketing Events Manager at Atera, you will play a pivotal role in planning, executing, and elevating both our in‑person and virtual flagship events portfolio. You will partner closely with the Head of Events & Field Marketing to deliver memorable experiences that drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and pipeline growth. This role is ideal for a creative, highly organized professional who excels in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment and can effectively balance strategic planning with meticulous execution.

What you’ll be doing

Plan and Execute Conferences & Summits: Manage Atera’s presence at industry conferences and tradeshows, ensuring alignment with business goals, seamless logistics, and a strong return on investment.

Own Atera-hosted Events: Lead all aspects of Atera meetups, customer gatherings, and exclusive programs in North America.

Flagship Virtual Experiences: Manage and execute key virtual events including Ateraverse and Autonomy Day, ensuring immersive and engaging experiences for attendees worldwide.

End-to-End Event Management: Handle all logistical and operational aspects, including budgeting, contracts, vendor management, booth design/setup, registration, shipping, travel, and on‑site support.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Partner with Sales, Customer Success, PR, Content, social and Acquisition teams to align event strategy with business objectives, maximize exposure, and deliver measurable impact.

Creative Contributions: Source and manage giveaways, event materials, and unique experiences for customers and prospects; assist with special projects and campaigns.

Documentation & Knowledge Management: Maintain event files, Calendar, Salesforce campaigns, Monday Boards and other internal systems.

Requirements Qualifications

5+ years in marketing events management within B2B SaaS, including both live and virtual events, meetups, and conferences.

Extremely detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects, timelines, and budgets simultaneously. Anticipates needs and problem-solves effectively.

Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to liaise with internal teams, vendors, and external stakeholders.

Confident in managing contracts, budgets, and vendor relationships.

Able to design engaging, innovative event experiences that deliver business results.

Thrives in a fast‑paced, startup environment; flexible and solution-focused when managing last-minute changes or challenges.

Willingness to travel as required.

Positive, proactive, and collaborative, with a passion for creating memorable event experiences.

Benefits and Compensation For this position, we offer a total annual salary of $170,000 USD. In addition Atera offers comprehensive Health and Vision benefits, 401K matching, and a generous PTO plan.

At Atera, we operate under a hybrid model, allowing our employees the flexibility of three office days per week in our beautiful One Penn office, enabling collaboration and connection while also accommodating remote work arrangements.
