About Ronco Construction

Ronco Construction is a Midwest-based general contractor and construction services firm with a reputation for tackling complex projects with creativity, integrity, and precision. Founded in 1976, our portfolio spans multi‑family, industrial, hospitality, commercial, and historic renovation work. We’re more than builders — we’re problem solvers. Every project we take on is guided by one belief: building excellence through teamwork. We show up every day ready to do what’s right, keep our people safe, and deliver quality work we’re proud of — together. Headquartered in Omaha, Nebraska, with an office in Kansas City, Missouri, Ronco doesn’t just set the benchmark for construction services — we raise it. About You

You’re organized, curious and energized by the idea of contributing to how a company shows up for its people and customers. You notice the details, think a few steps ahead, and bring both creativity and follow‑through to the table. And you thrive in an environment where no two days are the same. You enjoy a role where the work ranges from writing and content planning to scheduling and data updates, and the occasional “can you help me with this?” from a teammate. In this role, you get to dive into all aspects of marketing and communications for a mid‑sized construction company, honing your skills in a supportive and collaborative environment. You bring fresh ideas and the heart and hustle to take on any task. Role and Responsibilities

As the marketing and communications associate at Ronco Construction, you’re one of the voices behind our brand — inside the company and out — helping ensure what we share is timely, accurate, relevant, and engaging. You manage content, support storytelling, and keep our communication channels running smoothly across platforms. Your work includes: Supporting internal and external marketing communications across channels including social media, email, the website, and our internal communication platform. Maintaining the internal content and company event calendar to support smooth planning, alignment and timely communication. Researching and writing content such as blog posts, social media captions, press releases, proposals, and other marketing materials. Assisting with social media scheduling, engagement and performance tracking. Supporting public relations efforts, including media monitoring and event coordination. Developing and maintaining staff resumes for proposals, including research, writing and design updates. Assisting with the Ronco Company Store, including Ronco Buck balance updates and seasonal refreshes. Maintaining organized content libraries, file systems and marketing materials. Conducting market and competitor research to identify trends and opportunities. Providing general administrative support to the marketing team, including data entry, organizing files and scheduling meetings. Collaborating with team members to brainstorm ideas and support marketing initiatives. Acting as a brand ambassador to ensure consistency across all communications. Supporting cross‑functional marketing and communication needs. Performing other duties as assigned. Requirements

You bring a strong mix of organization, creativity and follow‑through, along with the skills needed to support a busy marketing and communications function, in that: You have a bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, marketing, or a related field. You’re proficient with Microsoft Office and comfortable learning new digital tools and platforms. You have basic graphic design skills; experience with Canva or Adobe Creative Suite is a plus. You’re familiar with social media platforms and how businesses use them. You stay curious about marketing trends and best practices. You can manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment. You bring a positive attitude, willingness to learn, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
