The Technical Design Team at Everlane is a small but mighty team. We work very closely and support each other across all categories. Joining this team will allow you to learn many categories and grow your skills greatly. A desire to expand your skill set and work on product you've never worked on before is a must!

The

Senior Technical Designer, Women's Apparel

will be directly responsible for 2-3 categories and will provide support to additional categories while working closely with our cross-functional partners on the Raw Materials, Quality Assurance, Product Development, Sourcing, and Sustainability teams. We are looking for an out-of-the-box thinker who can collaborate well with our team, outside vendors, and across all levels of the organization. This position is a full-time role and reports directly to the Director of Technical Design.

Your day-to-day

Manage 2-3 product categories

Prep samples, lead fittings and send fit comments on owned product

Manage category spec comparisons and "fit buckets"

Develop block patterns for your owned categories

Maintain close relations with all your product vendors abroad and domestically

We'd love to hear from you if you have

7+ years experience in technical design

A passion for a good-fitting garment and high product excellence

Strong understanding of pattern-making basics across several categories

Advanced level of understanding of garment construction

Advanced level of understanding of garment development process from initial sketch to production

Confidence leading fittings with cross-functional teams (design, merch, PD, etc)

The Fine Print HQ:

This is a full-time role based at our San Francisco office headquarters in the Mission neighborhood. In‑office requirement is 3-4 days per week.

California resident:

The annual compensation range for this role is $74,000 – $105,000. This range is based on the San Francisco geographic area and the actual pay may vary depending on your skills, qualifications, experience, and geographic location.
