Vcheck
Join Vcheck for the Director, Product Marketing role.
About Vcheck We started in 2012, in an era when due diligence was largely manual, opaque, and inconsistent. Financial institutions needed reliable intelligence but faced a frustrating choice: slow, expensive boutique firms or fast, superficial automated checks. We brought the investigative rigor of boutique firms to scale through technology. From our early days conducting background checks for commercial real estate lenders and private equity deals to building a best‑in‑class portfolio monitoring platform and arguably the industry's most advanced investigations platform, our vision remains unchanged: help businesses see clearly through complexity and make decisions with confidence.
Base in New York City with global operations in the US, Romania, India, and soon‑to‑be London
25,000+ investigations annually across six continents
Five consecutive appearances on the Inc. 5000 list of fastest‑growing companies
Backed by Sunstone Partners, a leading private‑equity firm supporting our next phase of growth
Trusted by top‑tier financial institutions, private‑equity firms, and Fortune 500 companies
Vcheck has a talented and collaborative team. While many of our team members come from backgrounds in compliance, law enforcement, journalism, or intelligence, many others have built successful careers here without prior investigative experience. What unites us is intellectual curiosity, attention to detail, and a commitment to getting it right.
We're building something different: a comprehensive portfolio risk management platform that operates with the rigor of a top‑tier investigative shop and the efficiency of a modern technology company. If you're excited about that combination and ready to build learning programs that scale operational excellence, we'd love to hear from you.
About the Job At Vcheck, our mission is to help businesses make better decisions about the people and companies they work with. We empower organizations to understand risk deeply and act decisively, combining investigative expertise with cutting‑edge technology.
As Director of Product Marketing, you will be the strategic voice bringing our innovative Portfolio Risk Management Platform to market. You’ll own the narrative that positions Vcheck as the essential partner for risk‑based decision‑making across private equity, venture capital, legal, and corporate clients. This is a high‑impact, cross‑functional role where you translate complex investigative capabilities and software solutions into compelling value propositions, orchestrate go‑to‑market strategies for new services and features, and empower our Sales and Customer Success teams to win in competitive situations.
What you'll do

Craft differentiated positioning that articulates why Vcheck’s human‑led, technology‑enabled approach delivers superior outcomes
Translate product features and investigative methodologies into tangible use cases, customer outcomes, and ROI narratives
Build industry narratives that connect Vcheck’s capabilities to broader themes in KYC, M&A diligence, portfolio risk management, and pre‑employment compliance
Partner with Product and leadership to influence roadmap decisions based on market demand
Enable Sales & Customer Success Teams
Develop practical sales tools: competitive battle cards, demo scripts, ROI calculators, objection‑handling guides, and customer proof points
Design and deliver training programs that equip teams to articulate Vcheck’s value, navigate complex sales cycles, and win against competitors
Build repeatable enablement frameworks that scale as the company grows
Shape Market Strategy & Customer Intelligence
Continuously monitor the competitive landscape, analyst perspectives, and emerging trends in due diligence, risk assessment, and financial crime prevention
Develop and refine buyer personas for our target ICPs (private equity firms, venture capital investors, general counsels, and compliance leaders) – documenting their pain points, buying triggers, and success metrics
Translate market insights and customer feedback into actionable inputs for product messaging, positioning, and roadmap priorities
Drive Go‑to‑Market Strategy & Launch Execution
Own GTM communication strategy and execution for new service launches, product enhancements, and market expansions
Coordinate launch readiness across Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, and Partner teams with clear plans, timelines, and accountability
Create high‑impact launch assets including pitch decks, one‑pagers, case studies, videos, blog posts, and FAQs
Measure and optimize launch effectiveness through adoption metrics, pipeline influence, and market feedback
Lead and Develop a High‑Performing Team
Manage and mentor a small marketing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, creativity, and accountability
Balance strategic leadership with hands‑on execution, rolling up your sleeves to drive critical initiatives
Set clear goals, provide ongoing feedback, and develop team members’ skills and career growth
Collaborate Across the Organization
Work closely with Product Management to align on feature prioritization, packaging, and collateral
Partner with Sales leadership to understand deal dynamics, win/loss drivers, and market objections
Collaborate with Marketing on content strategy, demand generation campaigns, and analyst relations to amplify Vcheck’s market presence
Track feature adoption and customer utilization of capabilities post‑launch
