About Marketing at DLR Group The Marketing team provides strategic support to pursue new opportunities and develop marketing materials. Leveraging deep understanding of market trends and client needs, the team highlights the firm’s expertise and resonates with prospective clients.
Position Summary The Marketing Leader guides strategic marketing activity for the Higher Education sector, supporting growth and awareness by promoting the firm’s design acumen and value proposition. They develop calendars, execute external marketing communications, and lead other communications professionals.
What You Will Do
Monitor sector trends, understand performance outlook, identify positioning and differentiation strategies.
Manage and mentor a cross-functional marketing, media, and creative team to achieve brand awareness and market impact.
Develop annual marketing communications plan, content strategy and calendar, including integrated campaigns, award programs, and asset management.
Shape creative vision for sector-based content across digital and print channels.
Lead storytelling and manage sector page/content at dlrgroup.com.
Establish and measure KPIs to track campaign impact and analyze effectiveness.
Identify marketing metrics improvements and deliverables for the sector.
Required Qualifications
Degree in Marketing, Communications, English, or similar.
10+ years of progressive marketing, brand, or communications experience, preferably in AEC or design industry.
Experience communicating with public sector audiences including government institutions.
Track record of tying marketing activity and measurable outcomes to business objectives.
Deep understanding of content marketing strategy and best practices.
Strong project and people management skills; ability to manage multiple tasks.
Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (PowerPoint, Teams); familiarity with Deltek Vision database preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with hiring, managing, and mentoring high-performing teams.
Strategic thinking ability to simplify complex issues.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially InDesign.
Compensation Pay Range: $100,000 - $115,000 USD
