This is a 6-month, full-time (40 hours/week), hybrid contract role located in Cupertino, CA. The pay for this W-2 position is $64.00 per hour.
Summary In this role, you’ll support a global communications team by producing engaging social media content that informs audiences and elevates the company’s narrative. You’ll help bring stories to life across platforms, contributing to broader brand and communications goals throughout the parental leave coverage period.
Our Ideal Candidate
4+ years of experience in social media, digital communications, or content production.
Passionate about storytelling and strategic communications with a strong foundation in writing for social platforms.
Proficient in managing and executing content for high-profile social accounts, bringing strong research, writing, and editorial skills.
Familiar with social platform features, formats, technical requirements, analytics, and trends, and skilled at collaborating with cross‑functional teams in fast‑moving environments.
Can work independently while managing multiple projects, deadlines, and deliverables, and is adaptable to evolving priorities and fast‑changing narratives.
Communicates clearly in both written and verbal formats and maintains exceptional attention to detail.
Experience with visual design, photography, or video for social content is a plus.
Job Description Write, produce, and manage social media content that supports corporate communication priorities. Partner with cross‑functional stakeholders to plan, create, and maintain an editorial calendar, ensuring alignment with key initiatives and brand voice. Research and develop stories, draft social copy, monitor platform trends, and report on content performance. Support ongoing team operations such as content reviews, insights development, and monitoring emerging narratives to contribute to the team’s overall success and streamlined processes.
Education & Experience A bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, journalism, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent experience. A background in social media strategy, digital communications, editorial planning, or journalism is highly relevant, and experience with analytics tools, social monitoring, or cross‑functional creative production is beneficial.
Additional Requirements This opportunity is located in Cupertino, CA and requires hybrid work three days per week on‑site. This position may be eligible for benefits such as PTO, health insurance, and a 401(k), depending on tenure and hours worked.
