Position Summary We are currently seeking a PR & Marketing Communications Manager to join our growing team in Orlando, Florida. This role will serve as a key partner to our location managers and will be responsible for driving both local marketing execution and all public relations efforts across our 80+ Crunch Fitness locations. The PR & Marcom Manager will oversee the execution of franchise brand‑building initiatives at the local level to maximize systemwide marketing efforts, elevate brand awareness, and support promotions that increase traffic and build membership sales. This includes planning and running performance‑driven marketing campaigns, reviewing creatives for conversion, and ensuring all clubs adopt and execute corporate programs with consistency and accuracy. You will be directly responsible for ensuring business goals are met through strong PR presence, effective campaign execution, and the successful rollout of new center openings and regional marketing plans.

The role will also manage public relations for the company, including writing and distributing press releases, securing local and regional media coverage, supporting communication around new openings and acquisitions, and maintaining strong, consistent messaging across all internal and external channels.

Essential Functions / Major Responsibilities

Develop and maintain media relationships to secure consistent coverage

Lead PR strategy for new club openings, acquisitions, milestones, and leadership updates

Manage media requests, talking points, interview prep, and press kits, track coverage and PR performance metrics

Support & execute regional and local marketing plans for our owned locations. You will be directly responsible to maximize system marketing efforts, enhance brand awareness, and implement promotions that increase customer traffic and build sales

Plan and run multi‑channel campaigns across email, SMS, social, content, local outreach, and in‑club channels

Write conversion‑focused content for email, SMS, landing pages, paid ads, and promotional materials

Work with the corporate marketing team and manage media vendors as needed to support the initiatives at a local level

Execute on campaign KPIs, monitor and optimize marketing campaigns to ensure benchmarks are hit

Collaborate with the digital marketing team to conceptualize, execute, and optimize creative and ad copy

Monitor campaign performance and use data to optimize KPIs tied to traffic, conversions, engagement, and ROI

Monitor emerging trends in email and SMS marketing to identify new opportunities that enhance audience engagement and conversion, supporting continuous optimization

Maintain knowledge of the dynamic digital ecosystem (search, social, native, display) and how channels work together

Develop a deep understanding of the business and act as primary marketing contact with local General Managers and other key personnel; ensure effective communication of corporate strategies to maintain compliance to brand standards

Execute on event strategy, tactical plans, and project manage including all logistics, onsite execution, and post event analysis

Drive new location opening sales performance by implementing plans to build awareness and drive traffic through grass root, PR and digital channels

Guide and ensure consistency of corporate and brand message throughout each marketing initiative

Qualifications

A Bachelor’s degree marketing/advertising or related degree is required

At least three (3) years’ experience in consumer marketing, advertising, or media field

Strong project management and communication skills.

Deep understanding of marketing platforms (CRM & paid media); full knowledge of all bidding, targeting & optimization capabilities

Experience in executing local marketing plans while also supporting national programs as needed

Demonstrated self‑starter with the ability to work autonomously, handle multiple projects, prioritize work assignments, meet deadlines, and work independently in a fast‑paced environment

Ability to work at the strategic level and at the tactical level with ability to problem solve

Microsoft Office Suite knowledge required, specifically Microsoft Excel

Personal passion for health and fitness is a plus

COMPENSATION Compensation will be market and situation‑based, corresponding to the experience level, credentials, and personal characteristics of the candidate. The package will include a base salary, annual bonus opportunity, as well as a full range of employee benefits.
