Position Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Architectural Lighting Designer to join our team on a leadership track. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in designing innovative lighting solutions for a variety of projects, including hospitality, retail, and sports venues. This position offers an opportunity to lead design initiatives, mentor junior staff, and collaborate with architects and other design professionals to create stunning and functional lighting designs that enhance the user experience.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design and development of architectural lighting projects from concept to completion.

Collaborate with architects, interior designers, and other stakeholders to create cohesive lighting designs that meet project objectives.

Conduct site visits and assessments to inform lighting design decisions and ensure successful implementation.

Utilize software tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Sketchup for the development of lighting plans and presentations.

Mentor and guide junior lighting designers, providing feedback and support to enhance their skills and professional growth.

Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and new technologies in architectural lighting design.

Prepare and present design proposals to clients and project stakeholders, effectively communicating design intent and vision.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in architectural lighting design, with a strong portfolio showcasing relevant projects.

Proficiency in lighting design software including AutoCAD, Revit, and Sketchup.

Experience in hospitality, retail, and sports lighting design is highly preferred.

Strong leadership skills and experience in mentoring junior team members.

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts and ideas effectively.

Knowledge of current lighting technologies, energy codes, and sustainability practices.

Salary: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
