About the Role
We are seeking a talented
RF/Microwave Engineer
to join our engineering team and help shape the next generation of resilient wireless systems. This position involves designing, developing, integrating, and testing high-frequency RF/microwave components and systems, including antennas, amplifiers, filters, combiners, couplers, and transceivers for applications such as microwave, unlicensed PTP/PMP, DAS, and LMR telecommunications systems.
Key Responsibilities
Design and simulate RF systems using industry-standard tools.
Develop test procedures and evaluate RF system performance.
Troubleshoot and optimize RF systems in lab and field environments.
Document findings and produce detailed reports on design and testing results.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate RF solutions into larger systems.
Participate in design reviews and continuous improvement efforts.
Optimize designs for performance, cost, efficiency, and regulatory compliance.
Select and qualify components in coordination with suppliers and vendors.
Stay current with emerging RF technologies and propose innovative solutions.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with RF/Microwave concentration.
Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience in RF/microwave system design and testing.
Proficiency in RF design and propagation tools (e.g., EDX, Pathloss).
Experience with RF measurement equipment (spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, cable/antenna analyzers).
Strong understanding of impedance matching, link budget analysis, modulation schemes, and antenna selection.
Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with RF network integration for LTE, 5G, WiFi, microwave/PTP/PMP, satellite, or defense applications.
Knowledge of FCC/NTIA compliance and RF safety standards.
Familiarity with products from leading manufacturers (e.g., Nokia, Motorola, Cambium, Siklu, Commscope, Nextivity).
Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Honolulu, HI.
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $90,000.00 - $110,000.00/yr.
