Senior Marketing Communications Manager – Apex Systems Our client in Washington, DC is seeking a full‑time Senior Marketing Communications Manager. The role will serve as a strategic and versatile marketing and communications resource, acting as the right hand to the Director and overseeing integrated marketing and communications efforts. This position requires a dynamic generalist with strong writing experience and expertise in marketing strategy, event PR, and corporate communications. The Senior Marketing Communications Manager will shape marketing strategy, manage day‑to‑day execution of multichannel initiatives, and partner with external vendors. The right candidate will be a proactive marketer who thrives in fast‑paced environments.

This is a hybrid onsite role that requires in‑office work three days per week (Tuesday‑Thursday) at the Washington, DC office. On‑site parking is available and the office is within walking distance of multiple Metro stops.

Responsibilities

Support the creation and implementation of marketing strategies designed to elevate brand awareness and strengthen market positioning.

Collaborate with stakeholders to align and execute asset‑level marketing plans.

Maintain brand integrity by ensuring consistent messaging and standards across corporate, asset‑level, and investor communications.

Plan and coordinate high‑profile events, sponsorship activations, and milestone celebrations.

Manage event communications, including press outreach, media engagement, and post‑event reporting.

Oversee production of event collateral, signage, and run‑of‑show documentation.

Write and refine content for newsletters, social media, email campaigns, and other marketing assets.

Ensure tone and messaging align with organizational priorities and brand standards.

Serve as liaison for external agencies, creative vendors, and media partners.

Track timelines, budgets, and deliverables across multiple projects.

Collaborate with HR and leadership on employee engagement initiatives and internal messaging.

Develop content for intranet and internal newsletters to foster organizational alignment.

Qualifications / Requirements

Minimum 5 years of experience in marketing, communications, and/or public relations.

Real estate or similar professional services experience preferred.

Proven ability to manage multi‑stakeholder projects from concept to completion.

Strong writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail.

Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Pardot, or similar marketing‑automation tools.

Highly organized, proactive, and adaptable in a fast‑paced environment.

Ability to work onsite in Washington, DC three days per week (Tuesday‑Thursday).
