Director, Divisional Marketing (Interconnect Aerospace & Defense Solutions)
AirBorn International Ltd, a Molex company, invites experienced marketing leaders to join our Aerospace, Defense, and Space Exploration division.
Job Details Location:
Remote or Georgetown, TX (preferred)
Travel:
25-50% domestic
Pay:
$140,000 - $200,000,000 per year. Eligible for variable pay (monetary bonus or other forms).
Job Summary The Divisional Marketing Director will lead Aerospace and Defense marketing initiatives at a strategic level. The role involves developing marketing plans aligned with the strategic business plan, evaluating business opportunities, creating digital and strategic marketing strategies, building demand and awareness, and establishing a differentiated competitive advantage for the Molex brand and division.
Key Responsibilities
Drive key marketing projects, including overall strategy, target persona identification, digital and physical material development, messaging, and growth initiatives across:
Commercial Aircraft
Defense
Space Exploration
Lead special projects to improve customer traction and engagement, such as:
M2X
Integration of Smiths Interconnect
Assessing the buying process and engaging the new generation of design engineers with digital practices
Experimenting on distributor engagement programs to determine price elasticity and propensity to purchase
Assessing competitor strengths and weaknesses for differentiated value alignment
Developing account‑based marketing plans to drive pipeline and revenue growth
Industry, event, social media, and PR strategy development and execution with Strategic Marketing Centers of Excellence
Refining the internal vision statement and translating it into ADS’s customer and market‑facing message and value proposition
Serve as the point person for all marketing‑related activities with Global Strategic Marketing, shaping the overall marketing agenda for the ADS division.
Own analytics to demonstrate ROI and directly influence pipeline and revenue generation.
Basic Qualifications
10+ years running marketing strategy and execution.
Experience in the Aerospace and Defense market.
Strong understanding of business strategies and impacts of market trends and shifts.
Proven marketing campaign experience.
Strong copy‑writing skills.
Expertise in messaging and positioning.
Experience managing a budget.
High competence in project and stakeholder management.
Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or Communications.
Salesforce expertise.
Business‑to‑Business and Manufacturing marketing expertise (highly preferred).
