Design Manager for a top commercial GC in Reno!
Base pay range: $135,000 – $150,000 per year.
Job Details Based in Nevada, we are a well-established General Contractor that specializes in commercial construction. We focus on tilt‑ups in the $30‑$60 million range and have grown our design team to support projects across sectors, including educational, office, retail, aviation, and institutional facilities.
Responsibilities • Manage and lead the Design team for the Reno branch, ensuring projects meet quality, schedule, and budget targets.
• Oversee and coordinate design activities, reviewing drawings and specifications to maintain compliance with client and regulatory requirements.
• Work closely with project managers and field crews to resolve design issues and implement design changes efficiently.
MUST HAVE
Experience managing or leading design teams
Proficiency with Revit
NICE TO HAVE
B.A. in Architecture
Nevada architectural license
Experience with commercial construction projects
