Job Description Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
Bachelor's degree
Experience in designing, collecting, and analyzing data from Qualtrics site intercepts with a strong understanding of survey flow, targeting logic, and dashboards
5 years of experience in an applied research setting or similar
Expertise in survey design and analysis
Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and concrete recommendations for improving the user experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present research findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Demonstrated expertise in descriptive, inferential, and multivariate statistics (e.g., t-test, correlations, regression analysis)
Proficiency in statistical analysis software (R, SPSS, Qualtrics)
Roles & Responsibilities As a Quantitative User Experience Researcher (Quant UXR), you'll play a lead role in helping partners in UX, product management, and technology understand user needs and behaviors. Your work will generate essential inputs for designing useful, usable products that meet and exceed user needs. You'll work with stakeholders across all functions and levels and influence all stages of product development.
The ideal candidate has a deep knowledge of how to gather, analyze and make sense of UX data to better understand behavior, and can work independently to scope, design, execute, analyze, and report quantitative research studies. Collaborating with our Qualitative researchers, you’ll modify intercept surveys as needed, and develop a recursive research strategy.
Our Quant UXRs use methods and tools that include survey research, in-product intercepts, behavioral analytics, regression analysis, clustering models, text IQ, and logs analysis. Most importantly, you should be skilled in designing intercept studies in Qualtrics, including setting the intercept logic, managing cookie preferences, developing workflows, and creating engaging Qualtrics dashboards for Product Managers.
Key Responsibilities
Support the in-product feedback program using Qualtrics intercept surveys
Develop creative ways to enhance survey effectiveness for data collection, insights generation, action planning, and KPI improvement
Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify inconsistencies and propose solutions for process improvements
Collaborate with Qualitative researchers to continuously modify intercept surveys and develop recursive research strategies
Share insights with diverse audiences using Qualtrics dashboards and workflows, featuring engaging graphics, organized filters, and specialized permissions
Gather, analyze, and interpret UX data to understand user behavior
Independently and collaboratively scope, design, execute, analyze, and report quantitative research studies
Utilize methods and tools including survey research, in-product intercepts, behavioral analytics, regression analysis, clustering models, text IQ, and logs analysis
Design intercept studies in Qualtrics, including setting intercept logic, managing cookie preferences, developing workflows, and creating engaging Qualtrics dashboards for Product Managers
Qualifications Bachelor of Computer Science
Salary Range: $80,000 to $100,000 per year
