Role Overview Bausch & Lomb's Global Digital organization seeks a passionate and highly motivated Digital Product Designer. The Digital Product Designer sets the design standards for a human‑centered design journey, ensuring solutions that feature ease of use, best‑in‑class interaction design, and optimized user experience.
Primary Responsibilities
Define and shape the experience strategy with the product team, facilitating sessions to set design goals and product requirements.
Create a design strategy based on research insights, execution, and continuous integration.
Synchronize customer research and map customer journeys across teams.
Synthesize customer insights from research across the organization.
Take ownership of creating design deliverables.
Create design artifacts such as journey maps, personas, wireframes, and Figma clickable prototypes.
Build and maintain design systems.
Collaborate with Product teams to define UX success metrics and translate insights into actionable design enhancements.
Advocate for accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) and inclusive design throughout the product lifecycle.
Collaborate with content strategists.
Engage with delivery teams, empowering them to implement sprint goals.
Identify and remove team impediments.
Work with Product owners to align the roadmap with vision and continuous insights.
Challenge status quo and continuously improve solutions.
Participate in events promoting a customer‑focused approach.
Write user stories and acceptance criteria to enable development efforts related to user experience.
Partner with QA and product teams to validate implementation and ensure quality standards.
Monitor post‑launch product performance and user feedback for iterative improvements.
Contribute to governance and documentation of the design system for consistency and scalability.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of relevant experience in product design, Agile, and Scrum. Consulting experience is a plus.
3+ years of demonstrated functional experience in product design, HealthTech, and eCommerce.
Expertise with latest design tools (e.g., Figma, Miro).
Strong collaborator with cross‑functional teams across tech, design, and business.
In‑depth knowledge of digital and software delivery, technology, and industry principles.
Experienced in Agile Scrum teams, managing backlogs, writing user stories, and tracking metrics.
Proficiency with tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps.
Domain‑specific technical expertise to support backlog development and resolve blockers.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, comfortable speaking with business stakeholders and collaborating globally.
Proven problem‑solver who can drive solutions forward.
Experience acting as “voice of the customer.”
Hybrid Work Arrangement This role is eligible for up to two remote days per week and three days in the Bridgewater, NJ corporate office.

Compensation and Benefits For U.S. locations, starting pay ranges from $135,000.00 to $175,000.00.
